EchoClik ("the app", "we", "us") is built privacy-first. This policy explains what data the app and this website handle. In short: your clipboard history never leaves your Mac, and we don't run any analytics or tracking.

1. Your clipboard data stays on your device

Everything EchoClik captures — copied text, links, images, screenshots and OCR text — is stored only on your Mac, inside a local encrypted database. The content is encrypted with AES-GCM, and the master key is kept in the macOS Keychain.

2. No analytics or tracking

The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or hidden telemetry. We do not build a profile of you or sell data to anyone — there is nothing to sell.

3. Purchases via the Mac App Store

EchoClik is sold through the Apple Mac App Store. Apple processes your purchase and any billing information; we never see your name, payment details or contact information tied to a purchase.

Apple may provide us with limited, aggregated sales and usage reports (for example, number of downloads, countries, and app versions) that do not identify you personally. Your ownership of the app is confirmed on your device through the App Store receipt — no license data is sent to us. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles your data.

4. System permissions

macOS will ask you to grant Screen Recording permission the first time you use EchoClik's screenshot or OCR features — this lets the app capture the screen area you select. Clipboard history itself requires no special permission: macOS lets any app read the system clipboard by design. You can review or revoke Screen Recording access at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording.

5. This website

This site is a static marketing page hosted on Cloudflare. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request metadata) may be processed by our hosting provider for security and reliability. We do not set advertising cookies or run cross-site trackers.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because we hold almost no personal data, most purchase-related requests are handled by Apple. Contact us and we'll help you exercise your rights or point you to the right place.

7. Children

EchoClik is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
