Features

Everything your clipboard should have been.

A clipboard manager built like a native macOS app — private by default, fast, and genuinely useful every day.

Encrypted vault

Every clip — text, links and OCR — is encrypted with AES-GCM and stored in a local SQLite database. The master key never leaves your Keychain.

Touch ID lock

Unlock your history with Touch ID, Face ID or your system password. Lock the vault in one click when you step away.

OCR built in

Apple's Vision engine reads text from any image or screenshot. Search across your OCR text, or copy it instantly without opening the editor.

Pro screenshot editor

Annotate captures with pen, shapes, arrows, numbered steps, highlighter and magnifier — each element draggable and resizable.

Native floating panel

A translucent HUD that follows macOS light and dark mode, drags from anywhere, and pins on top so you can copy item after item.

Instant search & filter

Find anything across copied text and OCR in real time. Filter by text or images, and pin the clips you reach for most.

Smart storage

Choose PNG or JPEG, deduplicate images by SHA-256 hash, and save up to 95% of disk space versus raw captures.

Global shortcuts

Show the vault with ⌘⇧V and extract screen text with ⌘⇧E. Open settings with ⌘, — all native, all fast.

Security & privacy

A vault, not a list.

Most clipboard managers keep your history in plain text. EchoClik treats it like what it is — passwords, keys, private notes — and locks it behind biometrics and real encryption.

  • AES-GCM encryption Clip content and OCR text are encrypted before they ever touch disk.
  • Keychain-backed key The master key is generated once and stored in the macOS Keychain — never in the database.
  • Stays on your Mac EchoClik doesn't collect or transmit your clipboard. There is no cloud, no account, no telemetry.
  • Privacy mode Optionally pause clipboard capture while the vault is locked — ideal on a shared Mac.

Yes. Every clip is encrypted with AES-GCM and stored locally on your Mac. The master key lives in the macOS Keychain. EchoClik has no cloud, no account and no telemetry — your data never leaves your device.

Does EchoClik work offline?

Completely. EchoClik is local-first and needs no internet to run — no accounts, no servers, no license checks.

Can I extract text from images and screenshots?

Yes. EchoClik uses Apple's Vision framework for on-device OCR. You can search across detected text or copy it straight from the history without opening the editor.

Is this a subscription?

No. EchoClik is a one-time purchase of $9.99 on the Mac App Store — no subscriptions and no recurring charges.

Can I use it on more than one Mac?

Yes. Buy it once and install it on any Mac signed in with the same Apple ID, at no extra cost.

How do payments and refunds work?

EchoClik is sold through the Mac App Store, so Apple handles all billing, taxes and receipts. Refunds are requested directly from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Who's behind it

Built by an independent developer.

EchoClik is made by an independent developer around a simple promise: clipboard history should be useful without becoming somebody else's dataset. The app stores its encrypted history locally, works without an account and is distributed through the Mac App Store.
